The year is 2030, and the Coronavirus is still wreaking havoc on the United States. The government has fallen apart and the people have fallen into anarchy. The country is being split up into tribes based on location so that they are able to provide for their people. You live on the border between two tribes. Do you go to the mountain people or the beach side dwellers?
After choosing your tribe you are asked to go fetch water. You feel nervous about heading out to look for fresh water on your own but you decide to do it anyway. With the government gone, infrastructure has fallen to shambles and roads and bridges are almost all destroyed. You see an old draw bridge that would have been frightening to use before any of this even started. You decide to cross it.
On the other side of the bridge you reach a fork in the road. You pick it up. Silver has become very valuable in the post-government world. You start to worry because the fork is not dirty which means it has not been there long. You begin to feel eyes watching you. You start looking around frantically trying to figure out what is going on when a loud noise starts blaring from refurbished Bose speaker. After your initial disorientation you recognize the sound as Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream album. You know that there is torture being performed around you do you go check it out or continue your search for water?
After this adventure concludes you return back to your camp without water because there was none in the area, the river has run dry. You stumble back into your tribe leaders room wondering what you should do and they tell you that there is nothing more you can do. You feel terrible for failing but you understand that it had to be done. The next day you wake up groggy and alone in the middle of the forest. The tribe has abandoned you for failing to get water. You are all alone now.
